The standard we build to

This site is built to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We do not publish a conformance claim. Automated testing finds a little over half of accessibility problems by volume, so a clean report is evidence of work rather than proof of conformance, and we would rather show you what we measure, and what it found, than display a badge.

What we measure, and what it found

Self-evaluation. Every page is loaded in a real browser at phone size and measured after layout, rather than checked by reading the source. Measured on 13 October 2026:

Contrast on rendered pixels. 2,696 of 2,744 text elements meet their threshold. The other 48 sit over a photograph, where no tool can resolve one background colour behind the text; those were checked by eye.
Pointer target size, after layout. 406 of 406 targets are at least 24 by 24 pixels.
Focus visibility. 243 of 243 focus stops tested are not hidden behind a sticky or overlaying element.
Reflow. 35 of 35 pages scroll in one direction only in a 320 pixel wide window.
Structure. 34 of 34 pages carry a main landmark and exactly one h1.
Keyboard navigation, driven by real Tab keypresses rather than by eye. 843 focus stops across the site: every one changes appearance when it receives focus, every one lets Tab move on, and no element jumps the queue with a positive tab order.

An honest limit on that: automated tools catch only a portion of real accessibility barriers. This site has not yet been tested by users of assistive technology, and that is the most valuable test there is. If you use one, what you tell us carries more weight than any score.

Measures in place

Semantic HTML with real landmarks, so header, navigation, main content and footer can be jumped between.
A skip link to main content as the first focusable element on every page.
Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, never suppressed.
Text and interface colours meeting 4.5:1 in both colour modes, with a manual light and dark toggle in addition to following your system setting.
All motion and smooth scrolling is disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion. Content is never hidden behind an animation: if scripting is unavailable, everything renders visible.
Form fields with real labels, required fields marked in text rather than by colour alone, and a form that does not rely on a CAPTCHA to be submitted.
Data tables with proper header cells and scope, so the relationship between a figure and its label survives being read aloud.
No content conveyed by colour alone. No auto-playing media, no flashing content, and no time limits on anything.

Known limitations

We would rather name these than have you find them.

Wide data tables scroll horizontally inside their own container on narrow screens. We chose that over shrinking text below a readable size. The tables remain fully readable by a screen reader.
No assistive-technology user testing yet, as noted above.

This is the part that matters more than everything above it. If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us and we will fix it.

You do not need to know the name of the standard, or the name of the problem, to report it. “This page does not work for me” is a complete and useful report.

Accessibility is checked as part of the pre-launch gate on this site and re-checked whenever pages change materially. This statement is reviewed at least annually, and the date at the top changes when it is.
