Who we work with · Concrete & Masonry
The enquiry comes in March. The pour happens in May, and the ad gets no credit.
A driveway, a patio or a retaining wall is a site visit, a written quote, a scheduling conversation and a weather window. By the time the job is booked, the click that started it is weeks old and the platform has stopped counting.
Where the measurement breaks
In this business
- The attribution window closes before the job does. Platforms default to a lookback far shorter than a masonry sales cycle, so the ad that produced a $14,000 job is recorded as producing nothing.
- Quotes are not sales, and most tracking cannot tell them apart. Counting every quote request equally teaches the algorithm to buy more quote requests, including the ones that never book.
- The highest-value jobs look like the worst performers, because they take the longest to close and are therefore the most likely to fall outside the window.
What we do about it
Enumerated, not implied
- Attribution built to survive the real gap between enquiry and booked job, not the platform default.
- Quote requests and booked jobs separated, so the two are never optimised toward as if they were the same event.
- The job value sent back when it closes, so a $14,000 pour outranks a $900 repair in the bidding.
- Every route a lead can take traced end to end and verified with a live test before anything is called working.
The technical work is the same everywhere. What changes is which failure is costing you money, which is what the diagnostic finds before anyone quotes you anything.
