What Happened

A family exterior-cleaning business serving ten towns, with a site that search could barely see. The rebuild was 24 pages, one for each service and each town that actually gets served, with the measurement layer wired in before launch rather than bolted on after.

The point of wiring it first is that the launch itself becomes readable. A site that goes live unmeasured cannot tell you afterwards what it changed, and that is the most common thing we are asked to reconstruct.

What The Numbers Say

Across the first 45 days the site drew 8,420 search impressions and 53 clicks, at an average position of 20.2. The rate moved from roughly 11 impressions a day to 162 inside that window, and all ten city pages went from zero impressions to hundreds each.

This is a visibility result, not a lead result, and it is worth saying so plainly.

Being found is the part that moved. Position 20 is page two, which means the pages are being surfaced and not yet chosen, and that is the next problem rather than a finished one. Nine in ten impressions are on a phone, which decides what the next round of work is for.

What We Will Not Claim

There is no before-and-after here. The measurement property has no data from before the new site, so any old-versus-new multiple would be arithmetic on a window that does not exist. We had one on this site and retracted it. Every figure above is reproducible from the account on demand, which is the only reason any of them is on this page.

Where It Stands

Live and being measured. The next reads are about whether page two becomes page one, and whether the map pack moves for the towns that are not the home city.
